Solid 10 from Sparky on this one, Not sure if that was just because it was mid day and he was hungry as f&%k or if it's genuinely just that good...
Prep Time : 5 minutes
Cook Time : As long as it takes
Difficulty: F&%k'n Easy!
Serves : This really bothers me, It makes 5 pieces of french toast, 5!!!!! Not 4 and not 6 but 5 f&%king pieces of toast. Why?!!
INGREDIENTS
- A large glass of wine ( Just kidding.....It's only breakfast time )
- 3 Eggs... ( or more if you want more than 5 pieces of freak'n toast. Be sure to adjust rest of ingredients to suit ).
- 1 Tablespoon of milk or cream
- 1/8 teaspoon Vanilla essence
- 1/8 Teaspoon Cinnamon
- Salt & Pepper
- Pinch of nutmeg if you're feeling frisky
- Bacon!! Lots of bacon fried in butter until crispy
- Maple Syrup
- Butter nobs..One for each piece of bread going in the pan
LETS GET DOWN TO BUSINESS
1. Crack eggs into a bowl or dish. If your shit at cracking eggs then be sure to remove all the pieces of shell. Add milk, Vanilla essence, Cinnamon and season with salt & pepper.
2. Whisk it. Whisk it good.
3. Heat frying pan and drop in a nob of butter.
4. Soak your first slice of bread in that slimey, eggy goodness for 30 seconds or so and then flip and repeat.
5. Slap that soggy bread in your hot pan and fry each side until golden.
6. Mount on that crispy bacon, Drizzle with maple syrup and garnish with fresh tomatoes if you can be f&%ked.
See..F&%kn easy
(That's the equivalent of bon appétit in Italian, Because apparently that's where French toast comes from...... not France....Who Knew?)
